Romans 8
v.1
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,
v.2
because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.
v.26
In the same way, the Spirit helps in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.
v.27
and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
(1) The Spirit is given according to his will. It is his gracious purpose to grant his aid to all who truly love him. (2) the desires which he excites in the heart of the Christian are those which are according to his will; they are such as God wishes to exist; the contrite, humble, and penitent pleading of sinners for mercy. (3) he superintends and guards Christians in their prayers.
v.28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
v.38-39
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
